PET Becoming the finish of the room.
Acoustic material that becomes the finish of the space. 100% post-consumer recycled polyester fibers, dyed at the fiber stage and compression-molded — color runs through the whole panel, and the cut edge is the same color. No surface coating means no peeling, no fading.
Five thicknesses (9 / 12 / 15 / 24 / 30 mm), 132 standard colors, NRC 0.79–0.90 — thicker panels reach further into low frequencies. Tornex is the official Kingkus dealer in Korea, supplying Felt · 2D panels · 3D panels · tiles, with in-house CNC lines fabricating up to 1.5 × 3.4 m for V-cuts, perforations, and custom sizes. From drawing to install, the designer's intent carried straight into the finish.

Four performances, from a single recycled PET.
100% recycled polyester fibers compressed and molded into PET acoustic panels — refined design and superior sound absorption together. The full palette of colors and patterns makes them at home on walls, ceilings, furniture, partitions, even lighting.
Natural mid/high absorption
The porous PET fiber structure across 9 / 12 / 15 / 24 / 30 mm thicknesses absorbs mid- and high-frequency reverberation. Greater thickness reaches further into low frequencies — without sacrificing visual finish.
100% recycled, 100% eco-friendly
Polyester fibers reclaimed entirely from post-consumer PET bottles. Korean Eco-Label and Low-Carbon Product certifications support green building submissions such as LEED and G-SEED.
Flame-retardant certified
Approved for commercial environments under fire-retardant regulations — public venues, civic facilities, and educational spaces.
In-house CNC fabrication
V-cuts, perforations, and non-standard sizes processed on our own CNC lines (up to 3.4 m).

Uncoated, color as the fiber itself.
PET acoustic panels are never surface-coated. Color is set at the fiber stage and runs uniformly through the panel — the consistency of that finish is the mark of an experienced manufacturer.
The Tornex PET design tile palette currently covers 132 colors, with new additions on a rolling basis.

General Specifications
PET board partner Kingkus
The PET board Tornex imports, finishes and supplies is made by Kingkus New Material.
A maker specialising in PET (polyester-fibre) acoustic material, heat-pressing recycled fibre recovered from used PET bottles without chemical binders.
Official site ↗Tornex’s role
As the official Korean distributor of Kingkus PET board, Tornex imports it directly, CNC-cuts and finishes it, and curates the design.
- CNC shape cutting
- Design curation
- Official distribution
- Incoming inspection
Because Tornex only reshapes the board, its material, eco, fire and acoustic performance carry over directly.
Korean certifications meet local supply requirements, while the overseas eco-certs show the board is validated in global markets.
Focus on the design. Tornex handles the rest.
Design, supply, fabrication, and quality control — in one place. Performance and aesthetics together, at the most reasonable total cost.
Broad colors, deep stock
A wide range of standard panels held ready for immediate shipping. 132 standard colors plus Pantone custom matches on request.
Uncompromised quality
Imported panels produced at the optimal density for both acoustic and finish performance. Lot-to-lot color variation controlled within ±5%.
Unmatched fabrication capability
PET-specialized fabrication including V-cuts, drilling, and precision cutting. Panels up to 1.5 × 3.4 m, tracked through a digital BOM system so even low-volume, high-mix orders ship without error.
135 standard colors + custom production
A single PET design tile palette of 135 colorways. RAL and Pantone custom matching is handled through the Custom Catalog.
Quantity and performance, predicted.
We simulate thickness, air gap, and density combinations at drawing level and calculate the minimum quantity needed to meet your target RT60.
Material and service verified by certification
Certified to GRS, OEKO-TEX, Global GreenTag, EPD, HPD, and other leading environmental and quality standards.

Frequently asked questions.
Common questions from teams evaluating PET acoustic panels.
01How does absorption change with thickness?+
Per KCL-accredited test reports (KS F 2805), NRC is 0.79 at 9 mm, 0.84 at 12 mm, and 0.90 at 24 mm — low-frequency absorption improves as thickness grows. These figures were measured with a 56 mm air cavity behind the panel (timber frame · type-E mounting). Mounted directly on the wall with no cavity, absorption below 250 Hz drops, so for full low-end control we recommend 24 mm or installation with a rear air cavity.
02What fire-retardant certification is held?+
KS F 2844 Class 1 flame-retardant certified. Meets the requirements specified by Korea's Multi-Use Facility Act, school facility codes, and public-agency specifications.
03What installation methods are supported?+
For direct wall or ceiling mounting, use staples or hot glue for temporary placement and silicone adhesive for permanent fixing. Louver or cloud applications can use purpose-built or commercially available hardware.
04How far does color matching go?+
We carry 132 colors as standard, with stocked colors ready for immediate shipping. Pantone custom matches outside the standard range can also be produced — MOQ and lead time provided on request.
05Can V-cuts and perforations be fabricated?+
Share a reference photo or drawing and we'll quote the build. Our CNC lines are dedicated to PET and deeply tuned to the material — and we operate the only PET fabrication machine in Korea capable of handling panels up to 3.5 m. Browse our Custom Hub for past project examples.
06Sizes other than 1220 × 2440?+
Sizes other than the 1220 × 2440 standard sheet are available on request. Lead time depends on thickness and pattern; quotes follow drawing-level simulation.
07V-cut joinery — angles and shapes?+
45° is standard; other angles depend on thickness (9–24 T) and minimum width. V-cut joinery handles edge finishes, raised patterns, and furniture corners.
08MOQ and lead time?+
Interior projects ship by the sheet (one minimum); the furniture OEM line operates by BOM. Lead time varies with fabrication pattern and is confirmed after drawing review.
09Ceiling cloud — weight and fixing?+
Compressed thickness of 3–5 mm allows the same wire / hanger grid system as the 2D Panel. A dedicated install guide is in preparation.
10Large panels up to 3050 mm?+
Custom sizes are available on every model — custom height runs up to 2760 mm on current molds. The 3050 × 1200 mm large format arrives with the 2026 molds (expanded Kuswave A/S-2 and the new patterns) — one floor-to-ceiling panel reduces horizontal seams.
11Dimensional tolerance?+
Due to the nature of the fabric (PET felt) material, dimensional tolerance of up to 5% of overall panel size may occur.
