October 25, 2025The Gyeonggi Provincial Library, a new center of knowledge and culture in Gyeonggi Province, has opened.
It is a welcoming space where books serve as a medium connecting people with one another, as well as knowledge with emotion, harmoniously combining a structure filled with abundant natural light and an interior designed in warm tones.
Tornex utilized PET Acoustic Panels to create a sense of sound stability and visual warmth, completing the walls and furniture in some spaces.

Innovation and Design
In the central stairway connecting the basement and the first floor, beige sound-absorbing materials were installed to match the curved wall shape, visually connecting the soft curves and warm colors for a natural flow.

The book search desks and book tables placed throughout the Gyeonggi Provincial Library are products designed and manufactured by Tornex. They are arranged to blend naturally into the interior of each space using a combination of beige and orange tones.
Thanks to the structure that maintains sound-absorbing functionality, sound reflection is minimized even in the quiet library environment, providing users with a comfortable touch and stability.
This project is a Tornex-exclusive design solution that achieves both spatial unity and practicality.

From the basement to the fifth floor, Tornex's PET Acoustic Panels were uniformly applied in a sophisticated V-cut pattern in each elevator hall, expressing the space warmly and vibrantly.
